Try this guided meditation – it’s designed to make you feel happier! There are many proven benefits of meditation. Meditation increases mindfulness, decreases stress, and can strengthen your immune system. Here are a few tips for getting the most out of your meditation: sit in a comfortable position: seated, or lying down.

  • To decrease distractions, turn your phone on silent and close the door.
  • If you choose to keep your eyes open, try to focus on something simple, like a blank wall or a window.
  • As you play the meditation, focus on the words. If your mind drifts away, gently bring your attention back to the sound of the meditation.

Did it work? Meditation works best when you repeat it regularly. The more you do it, the easier and more familiar it will become to you. Try to notice how long you’re able to sit for and how it feels each time you try this exercise.
